I don't have a problem with them bringing him back. I am just jot confident he will even make it on the field on game days though.

Hope Wayne doesn't rule out a return.

Any alternatives? Or do we just go with 4 WRs?

The report now is that Wayne would entertain another team if the situation was right.

I am sure Wayne is looking to hook back up with Peyton.

I'd like to see them give James Jones, Denarius Moore, or Aldrick Robinson a look.

Well, Wayne sure has ripped us off. Take a signing bonus, then ask out for no reason, and look for another team? BS.

Need to double-check but depending on what he does they can recoup the singing bonus.

Is there any chance Wayne is just saying he's contemplating retirement and needs a few weeks to think about it, just to keep up appearances so NE can sign him back after the first game? In other words, I assume it's technically illegal to manipulate the cap with a handshake deal to sit tight a game and we'll pick u up next week.

Or this other possibility. Perhaps NE asked him to restructure his contract at a lower amount (as they are now up against the cap), which led to his refusal and release?

IIRC, the Pats juggled WRs on and off the roster with Branch (2012) and Collie (2013) so perhaps they do the same with Wayne.
