Alright its time for part 3 of my all-time favorites series.

This one is for most favorite Patriots defensive lineman (DT-DE) ever?

I absolutely LOVED Julius Adams - By far my favorite
second runner-up to me is Garin Veris but hes not close to Julius

Julius,he stood the test of time and played hard in the trenches for all those years.. quiet, unassuming.. always thought he should be considered for some type of enshrinement at Gillette.. not sure about jersey retirement, but some recognition is in order.

I would have to go with Seymour, and Julius Adams second

Dan Klecko.

No, but seriously, Ty Warren.

I had to give my vote to Sugar Bear Hamilton with Richard Seymour a very close second.

I have serious man love for all three present linemen.

But being an old fart, I've got to represent old school. Houston Antwine for Pats Hall of Fame.

It's just not right to leave him out.

I believe Houston was a 6 time all pro? - Yeah its unbelievable he is not in the HOF

Bet most of the younger guys on here went "Who's Antwine?"

I think your right, even though that's AFL.

By the way, he is in the AFL Hall. They had a great four man line and the other three are in. Problem is, Antwine might have been the best of the 4.

Their HOF needs a serious look before the current crop starts to retire.

Just checked. He played after the merger, but his all pros were AFL.

The Pats had some fine teams in the 60's.

The early seventies, they went right to crap for half a decade.

This is a hard one. I voted for Ray Hamilton, an amazing small nose tackle with great speed and agility. Sticking with the little guys, I loved Houston Antwind and Jim Lee Hunt, a couple bowling balls.

Julius Adams and Garin Veris were favorites and Richard Seymour is probably the best we've ever had.

This poll is for our favorite, not necessarily the best.

My favorite is Julius Adams, with Sugar Bear second.

We should have a thread about favorite current offensive linmen.

They don't get enough love.

Ditto! I loved watching Veris and Adams, but Seymour is the best we've ever had. I'm also holding out hope for signing Ty Warren to a long term deal and seeing what he can do lining up opposite Seymour for years too come.
