Bill Belichick said coaching staff has not discussed how reps will be split up among QBs in preseason opener. Likely will do so tomorrow.

Do people really think Gibson has a shot at making the roster over him? I know injuries played a factor in some of those opinions, but even then I just don't see it.

I believe that Dobson will make the team if he is healthy. So, no, I don't think that Gibson will keep him off the roster.

Most of us think that we'll keep a 5th WR (Gibson, Boyce or Tyms), 6th if you count Slater.

Brandon Gibson is a more proven NFL talent than Dobson at this stage of their careers, Gibson has done alot more with less at QB. P.s. Thursday will be Gibson's 28th birthday.

Jimmy Garoppolo got almost all of the snaps in both in 7-on-7s and 11-on-11s. He overthrew a number of passes in 7-on-7s, especially along the goal line. One of the notable misses was when Danny Amendola was wide open and he missed him to the left.

— Overall, in 11-on-11s, Garoppolo was 12-for-20 with two interceptions. Like in past practices, he struggled to get the ball out of his hands quickly and overthrew several receivers.

Darryl Roberts was the best defensive player on the field, making several pass breakups.

Hasn't JG been taking reps with the 2nd team mostly? He has no chemistry with the 1st team. I'd imagine that has a lot to do with it.

He had a good string of preseason games last year but he was bad in TC, had a good drive in garbage time of the Chiefs game, played poorly against the Bills and has received bad reviews in this TC. Hoping he has some good preseason games to instill a little confidence....

Maybe he is doing some stuff, especially slow release, and in the game he becomes monster. still worried bout bills game, but that was really nasty defense even some 1st stringer were missing

In the Bills game it is true that the OL was playing very poorly but even when he had some time Garoppolo looked very indecisive.
