Breaking Story of NFLPA-NFL Expedition Motion

Bad advice from attorneys.

Brady is learning harsh realities.
I really do want to find out how that entire phone fiasco came about.
I find it incredibly hard to believe his lawyers would advise him to A) destroy the phone and B) let's volunteer that info to the NFL.
If so they should be disbarred for malpractice.

Right now, the NFL legal team is the Patriots 5 moves ahead of everyone else and Bradys team the Cincinnati Bungles.

Really?

Meanwhile, it'd be nice if England slapped an embargo on the NFL until Goodell is REMOVED as commissioner. After all, it's the owners that WANT this expansion. Roger Goodell is just the two bit Park Ave. punk in the three piece suit who's acting as their rep. Besides, what true Englishman would ever want the ugliest of "ugly Americans" doing business on THEIR soil and braying out commands and orders like a stoned out Gen.Buck Turgidson straight out of Dr. Strangelove....?

Hey, Joker! This is all the fault of King George (I mean, isn't everything?)

".. the NFL’s justice system is just like the monarchical system the original New England patriots rebelled against. [The Wells Report] is an affront to America’s Founding Fathers."

Agree with you 100%. They have been out-maneuvered at every turn.
Going forward I really think they have a strong enough case to win in court.
Personally I don't think it's getting that far. I think this judge wants no part of having to decide this case and will use his judicial sway to "convince" these sides to settle.
My concern is Brady will cave and accept a 1 game suspension.
If I'm Tom Brady I look the judge IN THE EYE, profess my innocence of what I've been accused of, protest how I have been publicly smeared and besmirched for months through media leaks coming from this Commissioner's own office and I will not accept any settlement that includes a suspension.
"I do not do what they have accused me of, your honor".

Brady tough enough to stick to his guns??? I have my doubts. I really do.

I think a better description was that Pats were working behind the scenes, hoping the league would do the right thing while the league was playing this ( and well) in the court of public opinion. With the release of the email trail, it is the Patriots way of saying, " F this, we can play dirty too". Can they and will they continue fighting the league, especially when Park Avenue threatens punishment as they inevitably will???
I hope so....

Man I leave the country for one week and everything happens. At least I had ESPN just no wifi.

The NFL has owned this entire battle

Bingo

Only the blind think its going well for Brady. Rushing to judgment by 9/4 is going to backfire on Brady, but I can relate wanting the whole fiasco over and done.

I would LOVE to see the Patriots reinstate Jastremski and McNally and go to war/court with Goodell over that.
How delicious would that be??

I would have liked to see ball psi data from the 2015 season used as evidence on Bradys behalf.

Really?

Where did Bradys legal team outmaneuver the NFL? Care to show us?
Intended on filing an injunction. Forced parties agreed to accelerate proceedings.

Do you agree that the NFL has a **** case?

What's your reasoning? Please don't say filing in NY. You don't think Kessler knows Berman?

Oh lord, please let us get to SB50, win it, and there on the podium, holding the Lombardi trophy, have Gronk force-bend Goodell, and have Brady shove that Lombardi up his *** so deep to give him a second Adam's apple.

Now way in hell Kessler wanted this case heard in NY instead of Minnesota.

Brady should have made a statement professing his innocence months ago instead of last week. Its over and Brady knows it. Goodell won even if the Judge gives Brady 1 or 2 games.

Why does the NFL want it expedited? Thought they would have liked to stretch this one through the season.

Legal expert Lester 'Triumph' Munson weighs in, unaware that the judge can't 'give' Brady anything.

There was a process that had to play out first. If the appeal was a sham (it was), his legal team is just now putting on their helmets and getting in the game (prep work prior to was practice).

Wallach mentioned on twitter that New York has a higher standard for granting am injunction than MN so the NFLPA probably didn't want to risk it and felt more confident about the actual ruling.

Forget where from but I read that getting the ruling before the season if it goes against Brady can go to the 2nd circuit (NY Court of Appeals) and still play. So really it's just easy to get this decision and appeal it than go for an injunction that is 50/50

Oh that troll is posting? I have him on ignore. But typical he'd take the "NFL has looked so great and Brady looks like an idiot" stance.
