The fact that Gronk is a Patriot makes his shenanigans even more hilarious, because it's under the otherwise stoic and reserved Belichick umbrella. The Patriot Way just means "Don't say **** to the media about anything." Being a veteran in the Belichick regime is like going up a level in scientology, when you get to learn about aliens, or, in Gronk's case, jet ski through shopping malls with a sombrero.

And Belichick ain't even mad.

The sound bytes from the rookie class's first day with the media was hilarious. It was like guys their first day in a boot camp, fearfully mumbling "I'm just here to work hard and get better" over and over again.

"How was your first day of practice?"

"I'm not focused on that right now. I'm just trying to work hard and get better."
