Yeah this is the thing. If they loaded up on Peterson, Rice, sprung Hernandez, and brought in Orenthal to coach... I actually wouldn't think less of the organization than I do already. Sad part is, I don't feel this way because of BB or the players. I've worked at a couple of companies that I found to be, frankly, morally bankrupt at the top. Not a good feeling. And I imagine it's something much of the staff is dealing with. That said, you can't support something that you feel that way about. So there it is.

It’s not surprising to see the false narrative pushed by folks in the media who don’t like the union and/or don’t like NFLPA executive director DeMaurice Smith and/or hope to curry favor with the league and its owners and/or are simply repeating what they’ve seen from others in the media. It’s more surprising to see those remarks from a prominent member of the union.

But it’s not really surprising in this case, because Revis is the nephew of Sean Gilbert, who failed to defeat Smith during a March election with a candidacy that failed whenGilbert became agitated during breakout sessions with players.
