For you folks who think the silver lining is that Brady will not be suspended or that suspended be lessened due to Kraft giving in, please knock it off. The two have nothing to do with each other and the chances of Brady's suspension sticking is slim to none as it is.

Even IF Brady's suspension stuck, giving up our future is NOT worth a couple of games without Brady.

There is no damn silver lining.

What Kraft and the Patriots will say if the suspension is reduced is that their capitulation is the cause. What they don't appear to realize is that Brady's appeal (and probably lawsuit) has little to do with the suspension. Brady's image and reputation have been damaged by Roger Goodell. Brady is going to pursue a legal remedy with all of the resources he has, even if the suspension was reduced to zero. Kraft turned his back on all of this, trading Brady's reputation for some backroom deal on the four games.

Every Patriot knows that at some point, the team will kick him to the curb. The difference here is that this time, the Patriots tossed Brady overboard, and now will expect him to play his guts out for the team afterwards. This is the ultimate insult to Brady.

Now Bobby (it's not Robert any more) gets to say he's on the side of guys like Irsay, Haslam, Woody Johnson, Mark Davis, Jed York, etc. Guess what, Bobby? You fit right in.
