Rick Gosselin who I think quite decent thinks brady's 1st ballot is affected. Surprised why everyone wants to nail BB.

Tom Brady > Everybody in the Hall of Fame.

I don't think there's anything to this stuff, but if there is, I just don't care. People act like the NFL Hall of Fame is some thing like the Roman Empire that will be around for 2,000 years, documenting the legacies of every great that ever lived. In reality it'll be a museum about a bunch of guys Tom Brady beat, that won't be a thing by the turn of the century.

With the direction of the culture, and the direction of the world, I just don't really see the NFL being a thing in 50 years, and so I don't see the NFL Hall of Fame being some eternal institution either.

A Hall of Fame that would deny the GOAT 1st ballot, because of a media-driven witch hunt, isn't something worthy of caring about.

This **** is just bothering me less and less.

I became a Pats fan in 1976. I was 15. I was mainly a Bruins fan and used to listen to the games on the radio. I would listen to Calling All Sports on Sunday. They were talking about the NFL draft that year. Pats had 3 first rounders and I became interested in it. I asked my parents if I could get Pro Football Weekly. They agreed to get it for me. Hub Arkush is out of Chicago and the founder of the magazine. Was the best football magazine out there pre-internet. He doesn't like/dislike the Pats. Here are his thoughts.

All of these 'experts' presume guilt based on Wells' "independent" findings and conclusions. Of course, I would trust Wells to independently screw my counterparty too if I paid him enough to do so.

Happened to hear about 10 minutes of Mike Francesa's show on WFAN yesterday.
Interestingly this subject came up in that brief time. Francesa thinks that unless something
else bad comes up with Brady before he ends his career he's a definite 1st ballot HOF'er.

Believe it or not Charley Casserley made a good point yesterday. Honest!!
Casserley's point was that time makes these issues fade and he used BB and spygate as an example saying that Spygate happened 7 years ago and nobody brought it up during the Super Bowl this year. It was a non-issue.
Same thing here with Brady and the HOF. This Deflategate story is new and fresh and we've not heard Tom's side of the story yet. 5 years for now it will be an old story, a footnote.

Just heard Michael Irvin on the radio being interviewed about this, he's definitely on Brady's side on this, what I would give to see him put Troy Aikman in his place. I don't know what it is about Aikman, but him running his flap like he knows everything just pisses me off, I guess more that he didn't just say he thought, he called Tom Brady a liar, and this was early on without even the stupid report. I just wish more football players would speak out like Irvin is.
