That life sometimes will just cruelly give the short end of the stick and **** you up the bum and not care what you accomplished and drag your whole life achievements in the mud. There's always those Goodell's out there that don't give a **** what someone like Brady or BB have worked for all these years, things that they've busted their asses off for to achieve.

So this whole thing is really a good metaphor about how life can be at times.

It's an unfair world, and unfortunately Brady and co. are no exceptions to this.

Don't forget us, the innocent fans. And all the players it's not just BB and TB12.

How could I forget? I'm feeling it and I'm sure all of those players are feeling it as well.

Let's not forget they basically cost two relatively unknown employees their jobs. I wonder if they don't have a libel case. They are not public figures like Brady. Any lawyers know?

Where there is smoke - there is fire. Bill Belichick instilled a culture of cheating - and when you play with fire - you get burned. The team took advantage of Kraft's cushy relationship with Goodell and went too far. 31 teams and fan bases are laughing at this crumbling "dynasty" and have no sympathy for the arrogance of the New England Patriots and their disillusioned fan base.

Try - for one second - to take a look at your history of winning - it has always been haunted with controversy.

See ya

Fixed it for you

And yes, yes it is. When people can't beat you on the field they will try to beat you off it. Especially when they have the maturity of a 9 year old.

But I also think there's a lesson about getting up off the mat and fighting back. Looks like that's what Yee and Brady are planning. Let's hope Kraft is planning that too.

Feels like my appendix was put back in and ripped back out.

There's a lesson they should have learned in 2007, that public perception matters. They didn't learn it then, which is why we are here now.

They basically said in 2007 that if you put a "kick me" sign on my back, then I will apologize for being so kickable.

They cowered to a bully.

Kraft is the key to the oyster here. I don't have a lot of confidence in the fighting back gaining anything more than a reduced suspension unless Kraft steps in. If Kraft were to somehow step in, that'd change everything.

You know, while he was a horrible GM for the last decade of his ownership, I have a lot of respect for Al Davis now. Say what you want about him, but THAT MAN knew how to stand up for his team. I love that kind of thing.

Or, if something doesn't benefit you and it's against the rules, don't effen do it.

Yes, never let your organization be headed by a crusader, unless you're a crusading organization. Of course, this lesson is taught daily, and forgotten just as often.

It's a bit weird (sometimes being thrust into the spotlight involuntarily can still make you a public figure), but they certainly have a better chance of having to meet the lower threshold of simply proving that a statement is false.

THEY DIDN'T ****ING DO ANYTHING.

Read the report killer, the balls were in the range they were expected to be in based on the tempeture and the weather. The only reason this whole ****ing thing is still going on is the complete and utter incompetence of the league.

Kraft better demand a vote of no confidence in Goodell.

Right. Virtually all of it complete ********.

What was against the rules?
In Spygate, all teams received a letter telling them not to tape games from certain locations, the Patriots continued to do so, they got caught and lost a first round draft pick.
In Deflategate, they (IMO) let air out of footballs. Brady's refusal to turn over his cell phone is a red flag for me. If he had nothing to hide, he should have turned it over. His answer, "I don't think so" to the question, did you cheat? also gave me pause. If innocent he would have said, "positively, absolutely, 100% no".

I don't think either infraction was a competitive advantage, I don't think their SB's are tainted, but I do think they got caught at something they were guilty of. That's what pisses me off so much. They didn't need to do these things to win. Yet, they have now been docked two first round picks.

I bet if he did cheat , he would have said absolutely no ! When you are in a room, with 100 people who you know want blood and will only believe you if you admit you are guilty...He tried to make his answer seem more sincere., Like he was sincerely thinking ...about it,,,and his opinion was he didn't cheat

That "letter" was nothing more or less than a clumsy interpretation of what is mandated in the rulebook, and was issued in 2006.

Teams continued to "spy" afterwards (e.g. including the Jets at Gillette in January 2007 AFCDG).

The "letter" did not comply with the rulebook, thus Belichick decided to side with the latter over the former, drawing the ire of the Ommisioner.

Thus: CameraplacementGate.

The Wells report offers nothing remotely close to credible evidence. So yes, your opinion of guilt here is just that. An opinion.

But if you think that all of these allegations are justified for the unprecedented and exceedingly harsh punishment levied against the Patriots while other teams seemingly skate free for worse infractions, then I find that to be an extremely curious POV here, to put it mildly...

The only culture of cheating is in that pea you call a brain. The only culture of the New England Patriots is one of hard work and excellence. You are but a jealous, envious little TROLL go back to your hole in the ground and pull the opening in after you, LIGHT should never shine upon you again.
