The 2015 NFL Combine Thread

Mitch Morse (Missouri) and Ty Sambrailo did pretty well in the tests yesterday:

Mitch Morse

6'5", 305

10 yd - 1.81
BP - 36
Vert - 31"
Broad - 9'4"
SS - 4.50

That's only a touch under the Bitonio level.

Ty Sambrailo

6'5", 311

10yd - 1.81
BP - 23
Vert - 29"
Broad - 8'1"
SS - 4.58

OL showed its as Deep as people talked about, gonna be really good OL guys on day 3.

Absolutely. Just found another one:

Jarvis Harrison

Bear in mind he's 330lb.

10 yd - 1.83
BP - 26
Vert - 29.5"
Broad - 8.6"
SS - 4.62
3-cone - 7.51

That was the 4th best 3cone of the day behind Fisher, Marpet and Cam Erving. Those numbers might not leap off the page but at 330lbs, they're very impressive.

Not only that, but there was 3-4 day 1 or 2 picks there didnt Work out! Cann, Grasu, Kouandjio and Ogbuehi. I wouldn't be surpriced to see Patriots getting 1-2 OL late day 2 or day 3 with nice value.

Imagine getting 2 of Ogbuehi, Marpet, Smith or Poutasi in the 3th and 4th, awesome value. And really something to remmeber when you look at the "Top" OL - Is they that much better so its worth Looseing out on options like: Gurley, Brown, Dupree etc. ?? I dont think so - Last year Pats DIDNT use the option of getting good value at WR, this year I hope they use the option and doing so

Excellent summary. For comparison, Logan Mankins had a 1.85 10-split, 7.54 3-cone and 7'11" BJ, and that was at 305 lbs.

Jarvis Harrison would make a tremendous right guard, at very reasonable cost. Get someone like Ali Marpet or AJ Cann on day 2 and Harrison on day 3 and the Pats will have done a very good job of upgrading the OL at reasonable cost.

I just don't know what their plan is for Fleming. I have to think they're projecting him for RG at some stage. Seems like wasted pick to have him just play 6th OL and backup Vollmer - we already had Cannon for that role.

Jalen Collins 6'1 1/2", 203 pounds. That'll have coaches salivating.
Landen Collins 6', 228lbs

My 3 favorite offensive skill players in this draft aren't working out today:

RB Todd Gurley - recovering form ACL tear
RB Tevin Coleman - foot injury
WR DeAndre Smelter - recovering from ACL tear

Still lots of other interesting guys to watch.

208#? Josh Norris says 228# for Landon Collins. Big difference.

Hoping Tre McBride runs closer to 4.4 than 4.5 and goes sub 7 seconds in the 3-cone. Amir Abdullah's 3-cone and short shuttle will be interesting and he and Josh Robinson in the catching drills will be important.

Wow, Sammie Coates looks like a tight end

Nevada QB Cody Fajardo with a 4.63 40, 1.63 10-split, at 6' 1 1/2" 223#. Tony Pauline talked of him possibly moving to WR.

Some other early numbers:

Nelson Agholor 4.44 40, 1.53 10-split
Jamison Crowder 4.56 40, 1.71 10-split - those numbers will hurt him
Amari Cooper 4.43 40, 1.63 10-split

Phillip Dorsett: 4.35 40, 1.54 10-split.

Devin Funchess with a 4.70 40.

Dorsett can fly, he looked like he wasn't even going at full speed and he ran 4.35

Mayock really likes Funchess

Beckham definitely looks like a player

4.46 for Antwan Goodley is very solid. He's build like a RB.

DGB: 4.50, 1.61 10-split. That won't hurt him, but it's not Calvin Johnson-like.

Rashad Greene with a fast 1.53 10-split. That's his game.
