Ok, I heard Tanguay on Toucher and Rich this morning. He is killing Pats fans for dismissing Chris Mortensen's report of all the 11 balls being 2 PSI as not being right because it has never been proven (he believes it to be true) and accepting Ian Rappaport's story that most of the balls were only a little under 12.5 PSI (he believes it was a plant by the NFL or Patriots to take the heat off the Patriots given to Rappaport who is an NFL employee and the NFL basically works for Kraft) or that Adam Schefter heard that people believe the Colts deflated the intercepted ball (another planted story by the Pats or the NFL to a former NFL employee in Schefter).

He also believes the Pats deflated the balls because they had plenty of time to deflate it other than when the ball ball was in the bathroom because the refs give the balls to the ball boy 2 1/2 hours before the start of the game. Yeah, he really thinks that even though it has been reported numerous times that the refs have control of the balls from 2 1/2 hours before the game until minutes before the game.

Tanguay is already reported to be on the outs for next year's radio broadcasts. I think he wants to get himself thrown out of this entire market.

Tanguay seems like a nice enough and harmless guy, to be honest - I just don't think he's very good at what he does, and am not concerned about what he has to say. He basically is the media equivalent to the craziest, least informed and most pedestrian caller phoning into WEEI.

Pats hang on versus Jets and advance to 5-2,

Tanguay post game: "This is who they are! They won't get better!"

Two weeks later...

"I WAS WRONG." The guy is a joke and he showed it big time this season.

Two week?!? He went on for like a month saying dismissing every opponent the Pats destroyed post the Jets game and said the real Pats are the ones who barely beat a bad Jets' team. He refused to back down on his "This is who they are!" comments after the Jets game even after it got ridiculous and he looked like an idiot.

He is trying to be a Felger/Borges contrarian and he is not good at it at all. He just comes off as obnoxious and condescending.

I don't understand why anybody would listen to turd's like this guy?

I thought he toned it down, exclaiming "I WAS WRONG!" after we demolished the Broncos, two weeks after the Jets (or 3).

Ultimately I'm glad he is likely out for the 98.5 post game show. They can do so much better than Tanguay.

Tanguay certainly isn't the sharpest tool in the shed. As a rule, the louder he talks, the stupider he gets.
