Might not be a popular decision but I say the team cuts him from the roster. Most of us are looking at him as he performed in the playoffs but his regular season production has been poor since he arrived 2 seasons ago. Don't quote me to this but he's only got around 1000 yards receiving in 2 seasons with us. Plus he will be 30 next season and the position he plays often sees players start to decline when they hit 30. We also have the younger and far more productive iron man Edelman who can do everything Amendola can do only better. I say save the money and draft a big play deep threat.

He has played in 28 games had 81 catches for 733 receiving yards and 3 touchdowns in 2 seasons. Amendola seems to be the type of player who is capable of having a couple of great games a season and being pedestrian in the others. I would like to see him back because the depth behind Edelman is important in my mind but it would have to be at a lower cost. In addition, I thought that Edelman and Amendola started to work well together similar to Welker and Branch back in 2010 and 2011.
