Renegotiate it to what? They just gave him an additional $1m per yr for converting the contract to a different structure.

You can do it once per league year I believe, so after that March date (1st? 10th? whatever it is) then they can rework it again.

It was a weird restructure in the first place, well detailed by Barnwell if people haven't read it...

But maybe doing that allows them to do something else this year? Who knows. Kraft even alluded to it being more complicated than people assumed or understood.
