Patriot punter Ryan Allen set an obscure but cool record on Sunday night by booting a 64-yarder that is the record for longest punt in Super Bowl history. That ought to get him a beer in every bar he ever walks into. Congratulations!

Huh, I had no idea because there were several more flashy and significant records but great for him! Ryan's done quite a good job for us, as has Gostkowski. Our ST was excellent this year and certainly made an impact. Very unsung, credit where credit is due.
Wow, even I don't remember that. I was a nervous wreck anyway, but I really don't remember it. The Patriots broke all kinds of records on Sunday. This is turning out to be the most satisfying of the SB wins. I didn't think anything could feel better than the Rams. But this is starting to turn that way for me.
Most people were in Camp Mesko. I was too. The most outspoken person I could remember was @DaBruinz complaining that Allen shouldn't win the job over Mesko because he was consistently out-punting his coverage. So yeah, you definitely weren't alone.
