I don't get how that is running into the kicker. People mentioning are fouls that didn't get called. there were many fouls that seahawks had and didn't get called. This is just one that stuck with me

Vinovich seems to be assigned to games to keep them close, not to officiate well.

It is not not roughing the kicker. The refs had the yips and were afraid to start the game with a big call. However, the interpretation is unambiguous. Running into the plant leg is roughing. Running into the kicker in other ways is a judgment call.

It was more closer to a flag to start the game than the one they threw on brady in 2012 for safety.

They blew the call. There were a couple of those on both sides. This was one of those rare games where it probably really did "even out" in terms of impact.

And how is the Chancellor hit on Minitron on 3rd/14 not helmet-to-helmet contact?

Butler got away with a clear cut PI. The officiating was great this game when it could have been a disaster considering the past few weeks.

The makeup non call on Butlers hand trip appeased me. I let it go after that. And oh yeah, the Patriots won.

Exactly. Why is someone complaining about this when not only was the officiating fair, but we won the fakking game?

Are people just looking for things to ***** about?

I think we've all seen worse in terms of officiating. Sure, there were some missed called on both sides, but I liked the fact that this crew largely let them play.

There was a push off on the Hawks that was ignored, but with the mistakes the officating exceeded my expectations.

Usually they pick only the plays which are part of the narrative in this case a 3 and out for the seahawks leading to the pats comeback. Calls went both ways. the OPI on amendola was suspect too on the last drive.
