OK, I had this idea to float as something a bit different from the other Deflategate threads. If I am all wet this thread can die the normal message board death without cluttering up other threads, but right now I am having trouble drumming up enthusiasm for the game. I expect that to change and maybe this is just therapy for me.

We have had questions about what would make fans walk away from the NFL and it got me thinking. Depending on how hard the NFL comes down on the Pats I think it's possible that BB could decide to resign and get away from the crap storm that coaching in NE has become. I don't know what his contract status is, but how about if BB decided to walk away from the Pats and Brady decided to go with him. Certainly the Pats might demand compensation, but where could they go as a package deal to run roughshod over the NFL in a final FU tour?

My guess is San Francisco would be the best shot, and a place where Brady would want to go. I heard an interview with their new head coach and he sounded like a joke, there would be no issues in getting rid of him and bringing in B&B.

I have always liked the way they draft, and their roster is good enough that the additions of B&B could make them instantly ready to beat up on the rest of the NFL.

I could see myself being a 49ers fan for a couple of years while B&B get revenge on the NFL.

Umm this would be a night mare scenario. Let's just not think about that quite yet...

Why would going to San Francisco be any easier on Belichick and Brady than being in New England? Leaving their success out of the equation (which I think is the biggest factor), New England is hated because of Belichick. Belichick is not hated because he's in New England.

Even the Practice Squad hasn't done anything to deserve this.

No........... just no????

The ultimate F/U tour with be next Sunday when TFB smokes the Seahawks, wins the MVP and when he steps up to the podium and answers every question with "Thanks for asking" "I appreciate it" "Thanks for asking" "I appreciate it". The ultimate F/U to the league.

Alright, im done.

Deflategate has officially turned people full ******.

See everyone next year.

OK, glad I put it in a separate thread...(runs for cover)

under there rules all the NFL could hand out is a 25k fine to Brady or BB or kraft noting more so if us fans stop talking about deflate gate the media will stop talking about and it will go away

Not yet, pull through to the Super Bowl. Sanity might just be restored with a victory.

They are talking about it internationally. My Japanese wife, who knows nothing about football, heard about it from one of her friends and asked me about it.

Another insane scenario:

1. Pats lose Superbowl
2. Then the following week the NFL find the pats guilty and inflict severe punishment.
3.Belichick resign.
4. Brady is traded or decides to retire.

The end of mankind as we know it.I'll probably need therapy.

I'm very much afraid of 3 and 4. And I'll have lots of free time if that happens.
