I know this thing is losing legs fast, my Twitter feed has slowed way down. Hopefully tomorrow morning NFL Radio will be back to normal and its just the usual nutjobs complaining about NE (Florio, Borges, ESPN).

I think this is on the refs. Brady could possibly like his balls at 11 PSI and the refs have been approving them the whole time for years. Because no-one, even Brady or the refs, can tell the difference during the game-- no-one has been complaining. Insert the Ravens, where Harbaugh could have some knowledge about Brady's ball preference. He probably called up Chandler's chump of a brother, and Arthur told old Jim and Jim alerted the media and whoever else. Now the NFL's credibility is on the line, though most QBs have been getting away with under/over inflated balls for years.

How will the NFL pursue this matter or what will they do to protect their product? They obviously thought this was gonna go away, since they haven't talked to Brady yet (I'm not even sure if Brady was suppose to admit to that-- he did change his answer a bit the second time) but the league underestimated the amount of hatred for the Patriots in the press and for fans.

Its crazy how much this thing has flipped for me at least. I hope they keep talking about this and out themselves as idiots while we take home our 4th Lombardi. I want a teeshirt thats says check my balls with 4th rings on it and BB/Tom's face. If were going to be pinned into a corner by public opinion we should make that corner as comfortable as possible and revel in it. Lets be the delusional fanbase who's team can do no wrong but also has 4 championships to bask in.

Petraglia and Price are the best. Interesting that they both believe the reason for Brady and Belichick not being interviewed yet by the league is that it is the league's strategy right now to smoke them out by letting them twist in the wind very publicly.

I find that possible and scary thought. But again, I'm just banking on Brady & Belichick being way too smart to lie about something so innocuous.

Brady press conference was the height of absurdity. Felt bad for him, thought he did well, although I wish he just did opening remarks like BB and then shut their momentum down. Best thing he ended doing was talking for 30 minutes.

Frustrating to watch Borges half-assedly grill Brady, when his premise (D'Qwell Jackson thought the ball was odd) was simply untrue.

Anyone who is on Twitter better start tweetin'

Here is their 7+ minute breakdown of what happened today:

Even curran said this this AM that the league is trying a 'sting' operation on the pats out of spite

This is now an official ambush - - "setup" mode.
Which is why they're letting them hang, and might let them hang through next week. Despite what fools like Francesa are claiming, this isn't going to hurt the league. Quite the contrary, this is going to be the most spectacular, most highest rated Super Bowl ever.

With D'Qwell saying this now, the cat is out of the bag!

Who first reported that it was jackson who noticed the ball? Mort?

I'm also wondering if the balls were under-deflated by fractionally, by like .2PSI, not 2PSI. I thought BB's example of 12.5 falling to 12.3 in bad conditions was pretty telling. Suppose Mortensen screwed up, or was fed the wrong info? It's not inconcievable. These morons are taking about the weight of the ball and have no idea what they're saying, physics wise.
