The Patriots are different. The Patriots, like it are not, are 'repeat offenders' in terms of violating the precious 'league ethics' or whatever they call it. The Patriots thumbed their noses at everyone after Spy Gate- rightfully so in most respects- and continued to win. People resent the Patriots. People want BB, on the cusp of another SB, to finally be humbled. This is it. AGAIN AND AGAIN, the question is whether Kraft is willing to stand by BB through another ****storm. I tend to agree with Curran: I think, with the 'integrity of the LEAGUE!' at stake, he'll be less inclined than he was with Spygate...

You're operating on the premise that Belichick was behind some tampering and most here don't buy that one bit. Otherwise you are saying he will dump the head coach that brought him the most successful team in football despite his being innocent of a wrongdoing, in which case he doesn't deserve any support from any of us. I believe Kraft will support his coach, QB, and team from the charge they did anything wrong, well see who is right?

I think it's pretty obvious why the krafts aren't and haven't opened up on these things.

Their part of the billionaire club and the nfl clog, they rather let bill take the fall then let their name be dragged through the mud.

OK got it, I think Curran is way over the top here and riding the hate. Unlike you Im not a fan of Curran or really any media guy, I think they are all full of crap. I think he has no clue what he is talking about. But I will say this if Kraft fires BB then they should find a new family of fans because we are done with them. I kinda like Curran but that's beside the point for me. I agree with you if Kraft ever made that move it is over for my Pats fandom. I could not give a rats ass about the Patriots if such a move were made.

Trust me, I'm not rooting for that outcome; while I think, if- if!- BB ordered this, then he's a fool. Not because I think it helped much, but because at this point he should know better than to flout the league brazenly. Where I agree with Curran is merely that my reading of Kraft is that, if **** hits the ultimate, heavy-duty fan, he might side with the league over BB.

As far as I'm concerned, the NFL needs either video evidence or a confession from a team employee if they want to do anything incredibly major, and if they haven't found video evidence by now then I can't imagine it's there to be found.

There's no doubt in my mind that this will serve as a serious distraction this year.
Imagine how bad team morale is at this moment in time?
The entire country is foaming at the mouth with the hopes that the Patriots get dismantled over this.

Given the commentary in this thread, one would think the Patriots have been found guilty of something already. The only thing we know is 11/12 balls were under inflated and replaced at HT. That is it.

Here's another thought I had.

Ref's grab the Pats bag o' balls at half time
They bring them to the refs locker room and get the ref stuff done quick. Pee ect...
They only have 10 minutes so they need to multitask
They start testing the balls
Someone says...."We should get the Colts balls"
They are right over there in another part of the locker room.
Pats balls are tested and are all under 12.5 but surprisingly the last ball tested is legal
Colts balls are all within spec
The main question I see is: How long does it take for a ball to warm up to room temp?
This of course assumes that with a rise in temp pressure is increased.

This Superbowl has been tarnished, and the experience that I was so looking forward to has been destroyed.
Any credibility this team had, whether the allegations prove true or not, have been shot thanks to this story being overblown.
