I've been asking this for days!
Can we please get the media to pick this up.

We'll be told that was him just having a joke and nothing to see there.

Ok, so there's obviously a much more important issue being missed here. Deflategate is the perfect opportunity for we men to finally demonstrate to women just how cold temperatures can impact penis size.

Let's get the NFL on this far more important story.

You're missing his point. The pressure goes down without air leaking. No one said that 7% of air is leaking. No air leaked. Pressure still goes down.

And no its not measured at the same temp. They inflate the balls in the locker room not in the rain outside.

No, I'm not missing the point. There's an assumption that one measurement was taking inside and one was taken outside. We don't know that. That's why I'm saying assuming same temp.

We don't know if they were measured on the field at the half or the next day after they came back to room temp. Plus, even Mort's reports shouldn't be taken as fact right now.

In fact, we don't even know under what conditions this 2psi is being reported. We also don't know if the refs didn't care when they measured it.

Where you get that quote of mine in your post #2294? I don't recall posting any such thing.

You didn't; someone else did. Not sure quite what happened; maybe I screwed up a cut-and-paste or something.

Unless they have clear evidence(vid, witnesses) that the Pats were involved with this. The only thing that should be done is a rule change regarding the security and Psi measurement procedures.

Does the NFL have stats pertaining to psi ? Before, during and after game for diff temps, time used, more running, or passing, weather ?
In F1 where tire pressure is much more important and tire wear all tires are given back to Pirelli after race to be checked and analyzed. As well as all race data. Football pressure is just not that big a deal, except that there is a rule about it.Most of the burden should be placed on the refs or should BB be going around during game with a gauge checking balls?

He was quoting me, I'm not sure how or why your post ended up with my words.

The patriots better of already called this guy in to explain ****...

I know, right! Mine shrinks to 11lbs too when it gets cold out.
So embarrassing!

DI, you must have missed the reports proving the teams guilt during this already completed investigation that had no premature out of context information leaked to the media!

Those must be similar to the reports proving that the Patriots couldn't possibly have done it because of a lack of opportunity, and that there's no way to prove the effects of weather, so the Patriots must go unpunished.

This crap's been going both ways in this thread, strng.

Someone in another thread mentioned that the 12th ball doesn't have the same lower PSI as the other 11 balls because it is the Kicking ball. So if they somehow did this, they wouldn't lower the PSI in the kicking ball because lower PSI means the ball won't go as far.

Gotta admit that does make sense. I hope none of this is true.

I normally try only to give out likes and dislikes. But after clicking the like button on yours, and then re-reading your post, I came to the conclusion that I'd better make an exception, and go with funny, this time.

Hey deus so your saying the ball boy did it? I wanna see these guys make statements defending themselves

You're right, it has been going both ways, and while the NFL in no way is the US legal system, I'm on the side of "innocent until proven guilty", and the "fans" are using an out of context tweet to prove our guilt.

I'm just displeased with how fast our teams own supposed fans will bury the team when they literally know nothing about what has or hasn't happened, as the actual investigation is still ongoing and hasn't released its findings.

The way I understood it is that the kicking balls are not kept with the others.

No....

12 game balls (or 24, depending upon how they deem the weather impact) for each team.
The kicking balls are separate.
