Duron Harmon Interception

Even if they called OPI, the penalty would have been declined. No way BB gives the ball back to the Ravens instead of having the ball on NE 20.

I think the point is it's still OPI and what if Harmon didn't catch it.

Don't know why I haven't heard more talked about this but the Refs should have called Pass Interference on Torrey Smith on the game sealing pick. Refs did us no favors Saturday
100% correct. If Harmon dropped that due to Torrey Smith's PI, you can bet their would NOT have been a flag.

But this is normal around the entire league. WR's get away with murder…. DB's can't lay a finger on them. I hate it and wish they called more PI on WR's, but this is how it is all around the NFL

BTW Harmon always seems to make "easy" INT's. He has good instincts and puts himself in good position to make a play.

Was Ryan just flat out beat or was he playing trail technique knowing he had help over the top? Watching the play live I thought it was for sure a TD.

I don't believe Ryan was beaten at all?

We don't need no stinkin' refs.

You were like Jump Ball Joe. You didn't see Harmon coming.

Bill Belitrick went over this play in his breakdown. He mentioned that the DBs put in extra work on long passing angles and high pointing the ball. It's like they know what's going to happen. I hope they keep that for 2 more games.

The thing that surprised me about this play was that Flacco didn't underthrow the ball figuring that Smith would slow down and Ryan would run into him, just like what happened on the other side of the field with Browner. It's even possible that Smith anticipated that and slightly did slow down, which made him slightly late to the ball and unable to break up Harmon's interception.

Interesting play, great play for the Pats!

That's an understatement. From the Belichick breakdown of that game film, the pass coverage is a work of art. Flacco had nothing.

Looking at that play I think I might agree with the Ravens fan that Flacco didn't throw that ball well considering he knew Harmon was cheating to that side. You can see Torrey Smith having to move towards the middle of the field. If Flacco throws the ball and leads Smith into the endzone against the sideline, will Harmon be able to pick that off? I think he will, it almost looks like Harmon is waiting on the ball in the end that he picked off. Bad throw by Flacco but wouldn't have mattered as Harmon would have been there for the pick either way. Definitely bad decision by Flacco.
