Harmon INT: The Play that Never should have Been

Flacco threw the same type of bad pass 2 years ago when they beat the Broncos (and went on to beats the Patriots and win the Super Bowl. That pass should have been picked, but the secondary misplayed it. Jump Ball Joe can't be lucky all the time.

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU DONT... RESPECT THE CLOCK

when the ball was in the air, i just kept thinking " here comes another bs PI "...

Not sure if you're serious.

Huck it up to Torrey Smith and hope for a catch or PI is one of their top playcalls.
Exactly, that is the first thing that came to my mind after they picked up the first down on the 4th down play. That was the strategy - pass interference.

Thats what joe flacco does. Throw it up there and try and draw the pi

He got revis earlier in the game and it finally bit him in the @$$

That has been Flacco's ammo for many many years. Have tall receivers jump-ball or get PI.

Only thing I have to admit is that he does have a very strong arm for those types of throws.

Flacco got scared, you could clearly see it on that play, and just threw it up. Hopin for a td or pi most likely, but it was an int instead.

It was lucky that Logan wasn;t close enough to the receiver to commit the phantom PI. the Rats also miss Boldin who could come down with the jumpballs

I have to admit, when he threw the pass and the TV view didn't show Harmon coming into view right away, I was sure that play was going to be a TD.

Clear OPI on Smith that the refs missed, too. He belts Harmon rather obviously before the ball arrives.

Flacco gotta do what Flacco do....

They don't call him Jump Ball Joe for nuttin'....

Harbaugh said the Harmon interception was based on deception and they need to "dumbdown" the playbook, for idiots like me.

Whine, Whine, Whine..

I don't blame Flacco for that drive as much as I would blame the Ravens' coaching staff. The way that the Ravens were running over the Patriots defense, why on earth would you go with an empty backfield for this drive? Not even for some play-action? There's was plenty of time for a few runs and at that point, they were making 4-8 yards per run. Weird.
