The running game in general has been better this half because of half time adjustments. It is partly because of him, but it is because the o-line and the fact they have used lead blockers for him which they didn't have with Blount or Vereen.
It's both. They've gone away from the zone/stretch crap and gone back to pulls/whams/turns that the two Guards are better at AND Gray is hitting the hole a little quicker than the other two who are dancing a bit more looking for the "big" hole.
