Who needs edge rushers with Hightower and Collins blitzing the A gap? And please BB, re-sign Ayers, Casillas and Branch. All three had excellent games. So much depth.

And credit to San Diego. I thought their defense in the second half was terrific and whilst it was a shame Ingram had to step up in this game, it was really nice to see him finally live up to the promise he showed in college. Such an exciting player when he's on.

In the past I've said something similar about Welker, and I believe it is true of both of them. But Minitron is here now, and Welker isn't. Anyhow:

If every player on the Patriots had Edelman's heart and determination, not only would this team go 19–0, they'd make the 59–0 Titans game look like a nailbiter.

Great, gritty team win. The Defense stepped up Big Time. We have to be the team that can win the ugly ones and we did just that. JE has the offensive play of the game. That really sealed the win for us!

On defense Jamie Collins really shined and they were scared to throw at Revis. Game ball to the team defense!

The penalty on Browner still mystifies me. Unbelievable. I'm watching that hit again. Honestly I don't know how that is a penalty.

OTOH, 1-4 in the red zone and 2 bad turnovers isn't quite so good. Need to tighten things up for the playoffs.
