Agreed. If we go into the 2nd quarter losing, I think we may find a hole too deep to climb out of. Too early to say it yet (obviously), but so far, our offense has looked inept and Manning is throwing beautifully against a strong wind. He's made throws that would be considered "deep" in our offense.
In a contact sport like football there shouldn't be touch calls. I have little problem with that call cause that's the rule, I have a problem with the flag coming only after the refs knew the Broncos didn't score. They never would of made that call to decide the super bowl.
Ten year cycles. NFL will find it self in trouble due to these rules.
