I like him a lot as a Patriots prospect.

His 40 time at the combine was a little slow (Low 4.48 high 4.52) but he posted some other numbers that are very nice:
6.66 Three Cone (third fastest) only Anthony Gonzalez and Johnnie Lee Higgins were faster
4.14 Short Shuttle (4th fastest) Only Anthony Gonzalez, Mike Mason, and Paul Thompson were faster
11.3 Long Shuttle (2nd fastest) only Rhema McNight was faster

He was good at the Senior bowl, and I like that NE has shown some interest.

Very high on him as well. Good prospect, very undervalued.

I have the Pats taking him in my mock draft. I like the quickness and the fact that he doesn't downshift going into or coming out of his cuts. He can create separation for first downs, but probably can't take it all the way to the house.

A year to learn the system and he could be a fourth receiver in 2008.

That is about to change now. The boosters finally pressured Bobby Bowden enough so that Jeff had to resign or he might have even cost his daddy the HC job. He should have been canned 4 years ago at least (Jeff). With Jimbo coming in I am thinking the offense will be very productive again.
