Anthony Gonzalez' numbers are GREAT. Smart guy + top Shuttle, 3 cone and good 40.

Hill's Stuttle and Stuckey's Cone are very disappointing.

I think whoever gets Anthony Gonzalez will not be disappointed hopefully its the Pats.

Huh? Zabransky is the Boise State quarterback, and took part in all QB drills. Is there some other mysterious WR who should be attached to those very nice numbers?

Rob Rang, Senior Analyst for NFLDraftScout.com had this to say about Gonzalez:

Rob Rang said:
[FONT=Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif] Gonzalez struggled to keep his feet throughout the entire practice. He struggled coming out of his breaks, going down to the ground several times. He also was the unfortunate recipient of some of the session's worst passes, forcing him to adjust on the fly. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to come through with many of these difficult receptions.

It will be interesting to see/hear about Gonzalez further down the line.

Group 5 was QB & WR. Just as Group 4 was.

Sure 'nuff! Goes to show about preconceptions...I guess I just couldn't picture a 6'2" white QB running a 4.08 shuttle.
:bricks:
Shame on me, and nicely done Mr. Zabransky.

I wonder how well he'd convert to RB/WR? I believe he's 6'-ish 225 or so.

EDIT: Oh horrors! You're a moderator! **sigh** I don't know that I want your brain now, not after the assimilation process. Poor T-shirt, he's just wasted away since he was moderated. Zabransky ran a 4.53/40 to go with his other numbers, idol speculation I'm sure.

Alas! I heard a rumor that he got distracted by something called "real life." So I've been appointed to corral the mad chaos that is the Draft Board. I'll try not to get drunk with power. (Though I admit I did post one sticky. But at least I felt bad about myself afterwards.)

Nah, good stuff....may the power go to your head.

See, that's exactly why dain bramage is such a high risk! Still and all, I thought she had lost a step, so this might be for the best. :(

Jarvis Moss and Anthony Spencer didn't look very smooth in the wave drill I was just watching, Okoye was smoother in his change of direction and back peddle. Brian Robison of Texas just crossed my radar for OLB...Jay Moore looked really good in the trash drill...Robison just did a nice job in the trash drill.

EDIT: What is this "real life" stuff? I'm sooo confused!

Oh no, I've still got moves you wouldn't believe. ;)

Speaking of which, was just watching clips of the WR gauntlet drills on NFL.com...Meachem looked impressively fast and effortless.

 Now that's our patchick!

Meachem did look very good, I liked his soft-spoken interview, talking about fasting and praying over his decision to come out - beats having him flash gang signs.

Steve Smith

He ran a 4.44 in the forty and had a very good 6.68 in the cone drill.

I had the Pats taking him in the forth, but that was assuming he ran a 4.5 plus. He might not be there in round 4 after this combine. I knew he was quick, but I'm shocked at his speed.

That's right, and the lawlessness on this forum will be coming to an end.:rocker:

I have to keep the standards specified.

You wouldn't believe the stuff I have to look at, and look at,and look at

Where was I? Oh yes, I really have to look at some stuff before I have to delete it. It's been hell.

Now Patchick will delte this post.

a wr that's been flying under the radar that i wouldn't mind the pats drafting is breaston. and it's not just because of his name. he's big, fast, and clutch. pun intended.

Gonzalez is pretty much our type of receiver we have been looking for.

Hope we get him in round two.
