I think Mallett could actually be good (decent) in an offense where he chucks the ball down the field a lot like they do in Pittsburgh. He is just miscast in this offense.

Agreed. My God, I'm already sick of it, and we're a quarter and a half into preseason. Every freaking play there's a flag.

I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed but I'm not seeing Mallett progress through his reads at all. It seems to me that he's locking onto his first read and throwing it to that player no matter what.
