Be patient. It's only a matter of time before he fails in Cleveland and the Jets trade their #1 pick for him.

I just hope I get the chance to be proven wrong with on-field play and Manziel drops his moron act.
So what? He's young and he's rich. Doing cocaine while partying in the off season isn't going to ruin his career. Lawrence Taylor used to do it all the time. You think there's not any patriots players blowing lines when they party? They're young, they're rich, they all just came from being the most known kids at their colleges.
A couple of lines of blow isn't going to hurt your athletic performance. If it turns into an addiction, that's different... But that's not as common as many of you believe.

That's good news, I was worried that the drug use was the huge problem. His family is a huge problem.
Tell that to Len Bias. I'd say it pretty much ruined his career. So what? He's young and he's rich. Doing cocaine while partying in the off season isn't going to ruin his career.
The conversation rolled around to Manziel. The coach said that JM came from money and has had his axx kissed all his life. His family is a huge problem. JM rarely listened to anyone while at AM and in his opinion the worst thing that could have happened is JM going to a team where he will start right away.
Said JM is a trainwreck waiting to happen and will get crushed in the NFL.
Yeah, there was a longform article in ESPN Magazine a year ago on this: http://espn.go.com/espn/otl/story/_...rity-derail-texas-aggies-season-espn-magazine
The author never comes out and says it, probably because the article was part of the big ESPN narrative-maker and it was there to hype Manziel rather than smear him, but this:
"They're concerned. Paul thinks Johnny drinks to deal with the stress. After his arrest, Johnny's parents and Sumlin mandated he visit an alcohol counselor; Johnny saw him six or seven weeks during the season."
At the time of the writing, Manziel was 20 years old, drank to deal with the massive amount of stress he was under, has been arrested for alcohol related offenses, and saw an alcohol counselor on a regular basis. Johnny Manziel's an alcoholic, and that should have been extraordinarily concerning for NFL teams.
What worries me, from a Patriots standpoint, is the fact that Gronk was seen hanging out with him and Diplo not too long ago. I said it then, and I'll say it again now: hopefully Gronk has better decision making skills.
Vintage Mike FlorioGotta love PFT. "We won’t speculate on what Manziel planned to do with the money." No, but you will mention "cocaine" three times in the story.
C'mon. Everybody knows that the first step in making an origame telephone is to roll a $20 bill to make the handset. Manziel was just trying to impress the guys at the urinals while he waited his turn.
