You get drafted in the 1st round of the MLS and you make around 50K to 100K.

You have to go way down the draft round list to make less than that in the other 4 major sports.

I'm not sure I'd call it epic. The Belgians have dominated the game and the Americans have been saved by a mammoth performance from Tim Howard. What it has been is entertaining.

Sir, we shall agree to disagree. We had a fascinating 90 minutes with a superb performance from Howard. We had the early goal that looked like it would break hearts, then a second that did. Then a goal from nowhere brought the US back into it before nearly equalising.

A performance full of character and grit and determination who simply didn't know when they were beaten. I'm embarrassed to call myself English after seeing a performance like that compared to the shambles we demonstrated.

The commentators on the BBC and the guys in the studio loved the game and your performance.
