Love the show. Some amazing improv and physical comedy. Always lots of laughs.
They use their guests as physical props in a skit - they have them on the floor, they climb on them, they jump on their backs etc.
This is exactly the type of show an oft-injured guy with a bad back should NOT be participating in.
Gronk just doesn't get it and never will. Dude is a moron.

SELL!!!

Let's hope this reaches the level of the Richard Simmons Episode...epic...

I would like to see a thread discussing if he has the ability to make adjustments and keep from getting injured. He is a great player but one more significant injury b4 the end of season and they may move on from him maybe?

I would be more worried about what Gronk will say on the show than getting injured on it.

Um...
As for the injury risk two words.
Chris Farley. Claiming sketch comedy done live is not "real" improv is stupid, but I'll give it to you. I'll change the words. Drew Carey.

As for the choice. Um, well, you see, wait.

A Tight End!! at the Super Bowl!! With John Cleese holding up a sign that reads "JOKE."

This is a fakepost, right?

You can't actually be seriously worried about Rob Gronkowski, a unique physical specimen, getting injured doing improv comedy.
Gronk is a unique physical specimen?? What's so unique about him?? His persistent inability to play football??
And no I'm not worried about Gronk. He's an idiot. I don't worry about idiots.
Just posted this info as a PSA (public service announcement) to all Patriot fans to let you all know that the maturity meter hasn't moved with Gronk. He's still a 10 yr old.

Love that show, some of the funniest stuff ever put on TV when it works. Gronk is a natural for this, a big goofy kid who is up for anything. Look forward to seeing it.

That said, I don't think it possible for anyone to outdo the Richard Simmons sketch, that is setting the bar too high.

<-----Laughing, of course not get hurt on the show talking. But on the field, can he make adjustments to better absorb hits to stay healthy and prevent injuries in the future.

My daughter is so amped for this already. She loves the show (and I like it a lot too) and her favorite player is Gronk. When I told her he was going to be on the 2 June show, she nearly freaked. She even plans on wearing her Gronk jersey while watching it.

I dunno, the night Joe Walsh was on Whose Line was pretty epic too.......

What's your point then? Gronk can bang porn stars and make guest appearances on comedy sketch shows as much as he likes. My prevailing thought is as long as it doesn't affect his day job what's the problem?

Initially I was confused with "What's my Line" with Kitty Carlisle et al.

This seems harmless and fun... nothing quite like some very good improv.

Boy, I hope he doesn't get hurt on a show that has literally no injury history and, oh yeah, already taped weeks ago.

What

you literally said

The guy's a 6-6 265 lb. beast of a human being, yet somehow he's in physical danger doing improv comedy with a bunch of middle aged guys

Ryan Stiles is great in this one...

Very good show looking forward to some good laughs that night.
