Rapoports credibility is less than zero at this point he's been horribly wrong like this quite a few times now and hasn't clarified it, he's just hanging on in the hope the Browner eventually signs with the Patriots so he can act like he knew all along but it's quite obvious to everyone no deal was ever inked and the Pats are one of 3 or 4 teams who he will sign with.

He should be embarrassed at being that horrible at his job, he's no longer even worth a twitter follow as his "sources" are all second hand from someone else or completely untrue.

He basically heard a rumor from some guy who's supposedly friends with Browner that he might join the Patriots and decided to break worldwide news without any real source.

The most intense Patriots fans are here. Until the fans demand decent sources and hold the media accountable, no one with a reputation is going to care if they're wrong, only if they're first.

People on newspapers and TV have reputations to uphold, but if fans are going to accept that jailbird Bob or left handed Willie actually break stories (instead of guessing) and forget the 80% of the time they are wrong, why should real media worry about guessing too?

Every breaking news story if you follow Schefter and Rapoport, Schefter tweets then 1-2 min later the Rapsheet tweet pops up "per sources" yeah your source is twitter via Schefter

Get ready for it when the next guy signs, you'll see it clear as day, he tried to go solo and be "the man" and **** the bed in glorious fashion.

his agent wanted to squeeze a little more money & hammer out the contract language; browner let the cat out of the bag, it hit the twitterverse, and the agent is scrambling

the agent is now acting out of spite, and is at least trying to get browner to listen to other offers, if nothing else than to save face


the question is: does browner want to play ball on the best franchise in the game, or does he want to squeeze a few extra dollars out of a **** franchise


either way, this ends up being a positive for the patriots

Twitter can send updates directly to your phone while you work or enjoy life. We live in an age where technology allows you to be up to date while living life. It's not that crazy anymore.

Exactly. I don't even have a twitter account. I just follow the tweets in the top, right hand corner of this page and I get my news from here. I have Facebook and Instagram, though.
