Nobody takes being the best CB in the eyes of Twitter users more serious than Richard Sherman does. He must have a pager that goes off when “best” and “CB” are used in the same tweet.

@RSherman_25 He's the best bruh. I've seen what he does to WR/TE in person and I'm sure you have too. Friendship aside he's the best...

@RSherman_25 I've seen you do it & he has to. But he do it on both sides. He follow the best receiver on the field every game and strap him.

@LG_Blount I just totally lock down one! And pick off passes that come over there.... Rarely ever giving up completions....no need to follow

@RSherman_25 that one you lock down isn't always the best receiver on the team though... Follow the best receiver every game and do it...

Richard Sherman and LeGarrette Blount Have Twitter Debate on NFL's Top CB | Bleacher Report

Sherman's right

Sherman's right

He may be right but he is an insecure twitter puppet. If he felt he so good why would he feel the need to say it constantly, he does not seem very confident to me, he seems like someone who is trying to make people believe.

They're basically arguing over who is the second best cover corner...

1. Revis
2. Sherman

3. Talib

That's just my opinion.

Not sure what Sherman will say or do when he is 31 and TEs and WRs in their early 20s are leaving him behind. Never have I seen such an arrogant, chesty, self-importantbeamingbig, swelled, vaingloriousbigheaded, persnickety, snooty, snot-nosed, snotty, stuck-up,uppishboastful,braggy, ****-a-hoop, crowing, self-aggrandizing, self-aggrandisingdignified, self-respecting, self-respectfuldisdainful, haughty, imperious, lordly, overbearing, prideful, sniffy, supercilious, swaggeringconceited, egotistic, egotistical, self-conceited, swollen-headed, vainhouse-proudoverproudpleased player in any sport.

You're right - much of the time, he does seem to have a snotty nose.

This would be my top 10 –

1. Revis
2. Sherman
3. Peterson
4. Haden
5. Talib
6. Grimes
7. Joseph
8. Webb
9. Verner
10. Davis

Talib needs to be on the field more and do it for more than just one season at a full level. I will be interested to see how Talib plays now that he has a big pay day.

Until Talib shows that that six game stretch at the beginning of last year and not the rest of his career is what Talib really is, he is nowhere near the discussion of the best CB in the NFL. If what we saw at the beginning of last year is what he is, I would put him in the top five but not #1. If what we saw the rest of his Patriots career is what he is, he is in the top 10 CBs. If he is what he was in Tampa, he is a top 20 CB.

This would be my top 10 –

1. Revis
2. Sherman
3. Peterson
4. Haden
5. Talib

Sorry. I should have made it known that I was talking in the context of the Twitter debate, not in the league as a whole. Hadn't had my two cups of morning coffee at that point so I wasn't all there upstairs. I've edited my post. I would put Grimes over Talib but otherwise that list is a good one.
