We already have a legit Slot guy. We need 2 legit outside receivers.

I like Edelman, but I would personally have been more upset if the Pats had overpaid for him given the tight cap situation and other needs.

TO me, it all depends on who we replace him with. If it is a more down the field threat like Golden Tate, or Emmanuel sanders I can live with it because Amendola can handle the slot.(and sanders too as well)

plus, tate can handle punt returns as well

Meh. If the reports are right, the Patriots offered him a fair deal. If he thinks he can get more, good for him, but Julian Edelman isn't the type of player you overpay for.
