What does this have to do with football?

is this a riddle?

I'm probably wrong, but I'll take a stab at it.

Acid rain is (usually) caused by the manufacturing of things that we want and need in ways that disregard the long term health of our planet. These toxins mix with water and create acid rain which slow destroys our planet and/or soil.

I think this would most likely be a metaphor for decisions NFL leadership continues to make for profit without regard for the long term health of the product or it's players. The "acid rain" could be eating away at the players in the form of injuries, or could be the injuries themselves eating away at the source of it's players. If many parents aren't letting their kids play because of concussions/injuries, then the pool of future talented players will be "eaten away".

Probably wrong, but I figured I'd give it a shot.

Even if you're wrong I'll bet it's better than what the OP intended.

uh....well....I have no idea what the connection is....I know what acid rain is...

Power plants release the majority of sulfur dioxide and much of the nitrogen oxides when they burn fossil fuels, such as coal, to produce electricity. In addition, the exhaust from cars, trucks, and buses releases nitrogen oxides and sulfur dioxide into the air. These pollutants cause acid rain.

Acid rain causing lung problems for NFL football payers??? Players will now be required to wear gas masks for every game? There's a perfect workaround the N word conundrum for Omissioner Dumbdell.

Seriously, somebody better explain what this is soon or I'm gonna start getting mad.

wait...LSD rain???

well, look on the bright side ...at least things will be colorful

Some how this is about Amendola right?

If it's not, just wait..the "Thing Without A Conscious" will remedy this situation in a hurry..
