Have stunk. Looking at the threads down the first page, the threads are:
More weapons for Brady, more weapons for Brady, McDaniels, Amendola didn't work, wide receivers, what was the offensive gameplan, offseason additions on offense, and offense let them down, not the defense.
I've bashed Brady plenty, but it's also swung too far in that direction. Why can the other team (even the Jack Del Rio Broncos) hold the Patriots in the teens, yet Belichick's defenses get carved up on a regular basis. I'm going back to 2010, since I feel that was the start of this new Patriots era.
Sanchez - 16/25, 194 yards, 3 TD, 0 INT, 127.3 rating, 28 points
Flacco - 22/36, 306 yards, 2 TD, 1 INT, 95.6 rating, saved by Sterling Moore
Eli - 30/40, 296 yards, 1 TD, 0 INT, 103.8 rating, 2:1 TOP
Schaub - 34/51, 343 yards, 2 TD, 1 INT, 90.6 rating, 28 points
Flacco - 21/36, 240 yards, 3 TD, 0 INT, 106.2 rating, 28 points
Peyton - 32/43, 400 yards, 2 TD, 0 INT, 118.4 rating, 26 points
The only two they stopped were Tebow and Luck, held to ratings in the low 50's. Even Matt Schaub put up good numbers against them. The Giants didn't put up many points, but they held the ball twice as much. So I ask, why can the other team stop the Patriots HOF QB, but our HOF Coach routinely gets pummeled by the other team and at times, their not-so-great QB?
