I can't believe the Patriots are this thin at backup kick holder. Where is the quality depth? This should be the wakeup call to Kraft to take away BB's personnel authority!
(Tom Brady held for kicks at Michigan even as the starting QB, and he was only a part-time starter his last two years. Ryan Mallett started every year in college and has never been a kick holder in game action. Mystery solved.)
I have no problem being totally useless. My suggestion is that we should have a backup holder on the team. Sure, Brady can hold. He can also punt. He probably could be a gunner too . The point is that there is no particular reason for Brady to be on field for the extra snap.
On when was the last time he held was:
“I think it was when I played in the Orange Bowl 14, 15 years ago. I don’t even do it in practice. They said, ‘Get in there and do it,’ and I said, ‘What do I say?’ So we figured it out.”
Brady can adjust and grab any bad snap, he does that all the time, I'm comfortable with him doing it if necessary, we can't afford to miss a field goal for a bad hold
Boy, Ryan Allen must have had one messed up shoulder not to be able to tough it out through the game as a punter.
I kid...kind of.
Brady can do anything. That is NOT what we are discussing.
actually you started a discussion that is irrelevant ...
You are assuming there is not a backup holder ...
