Richard Sherman: Brady not one of the top 5 smartest QBs

Don't think it was an intentional slight at all. Not everyone's life revolves around Brady and the pats. You'd have to be quite the homer to be offended.

Lol, not a slight at all. Lol. You don't have to be a homer. It is simple facts that Brady is better than those other QB's and is arguably the GOAT. It was an intentional slight.

The only intelligence being measured here is Sherman's.

"Hey, you want to write an article where you're forced to say some of the best QBs you'll face in the playoffs aren't smart?"

Duh, sure!

I doubt Brady puts Richard Sherman in his top 5 smartest corners list. Maybe top 5 smartest seahawk. If that counts for anything.

You mean #5 smartest seahawks corners.....and there's only 4 of them.

I sincerely hope Mr. Brady is given the opportunity to face Mr. Sherman in the Super Bowl this season.

As good as the Seahawks D is, the longer the season has progressed the more holes I've seen in their coverage. Also, their Ends are too eager to get into the backfield. Run Forrest Run would be a nice counter to that in The Meadowlands.

Oddly, I would be OK with this .

Strangely, it's not even the match up with the Seahawks D that I would look forward to. If you shut down Marshawn Lynch and Seattle's rushing attack, the lack of playmakers (well a hobbled Harvin and IRed Rice) at WR seriously limits Wilson's passing capabilities.

The more I look at the teams left in the Playoffs, the more uncertain I am as to who will win it all. There's 12 teams with as many issues as each other. It's going to be a coin toss all the way.

I just want to see sherman try to tackle bount :rocker:

Ryan Fitzpatrick is objectively the smartest QB. Andrew Luck is probably second.

And peter king agreed with him on twitter. One of the other reasons I stopped giving credence to Peter King. He agrees with players he has relationships with and shows clear bias towards them as long he has access to them. He brings nothing to the table other than his contacts .But he was named national sportswriter or something this yr.
eter King ?@SI_PeterKing 5h
Thanks for another great column, @RSherman_25. 5 smartest QBs in the NFL from an All-Pro corner...good stuff:

Richard Sherman is not qualified to evaluate "smartest" anything. I really wish someone would break his jaw.

Mmm, not sure King's agreeing with him as much as promoting a provocative column in a website that happens to have his name in the title. Don't get me wrong, I've had my issues with King, but this is how I see it in this instance.

By the way, King is sticking with his pre-season prediction that the Pats will beat the Seahawks in Joisey come February. Maybe Sherman (who has a clear aversion to winter football) will be inspired to do a column on the five dumbest sportswriters and hack on King.

people actually care what this guy says?

I hope Sherman dies from Ebola.

Sincerely,
An offended homer who's life revolves around Brady and the pats.

For a football player, Sherman's a pretty good writer.

But he's complaining about a cold, snowy Super Bowl because Tom Brady might drop center-quarterback exchanges? Uh, have you ever seen Brady play in the cold?

He will have quite a surprise if he faces Tom in the SB IMO.

Well, I read that prediction. He thinks the pats will win because of the refs. So if the refs dont effect the game seahawks can win. As usual he is covering his *** from both sides which is a Peter King trademark.
