No-missin? statement | Boston Herald

Amendola -- not running fully crisp routes yet. (This might explain lack of Welker-like usage. Another reason, of course, might be Steeler personnel.)

Gronk -- all the way back or close to it. Specifically, Gronk took a lot of snaps in a 3-pt stance Sunday, while those were very limited the week before, presumably to protect him against the most violent of collisions.

I definitely suspected something was still very wrong with Amendola. The fact is he was not the same WR we saw preseason and at Buffalo. He was not getting separation.

Geez, I just saw the highlights, but it looked like he had MILES of separations on some of those plays.

(Of course, the Steelers were playing zone......)

Gotta LOVE the bye. Lets get what remains healthy.

He was getting plenty of separation, but only because of the scheme the Steelers were employing. His explosion on the short to intermediate routes still isn't where it was in the preseason, and might not be there for the rest of the season depending on the injury.

I'm sorry, I was referring to previous games.
