In all seriousness is this the inevitable beginning of the end for Brady? Is this what we all knew was going to happen to his skills? Does he have at least a couple more seasons or is he really dropping off a cliff in regards to his ability to play?
Have to get a touchdown on this first drive. Spread em out and take some risks. Have to get something going. If you don't leave the defense on the field all day they can stop these guys.
I agree. Blount is so slow that I think he's running backwards. Bolden, though serviceable, has lapses in games and doesn't run with power. Heck, he was on the bubble at points in training camp. The situation with Ridley is just baffling. There just has to be something going on behind the scenes with his behavior and/or relationship with the coaching staff.
Brady has to be hurt He's passed for 25 ******* Yards. They should put in Mallett I'm afraid he's just going to injure himself further at this point and he isn't playing well. I'm finding it hard to believe he's healthy.
I can't speak on the other games you're alluding to, but I can understand why such a decision was made in this game. What has this offense shown you that suggests they'd magically put together even a good drive at the end of the half? They've been abysmal all game long, even with the scoring drive. Our outside receivers (rookies) have sucked d*ck this season except for a few plays here and there. Everyone is entitled to his or her opinion, but I agree with the decision to take a knee and not risk a TO or another three-and-out.
The team is down 11 pts, Miami is purposely killing the clock and "managing" like clock like all smart coaches do to not give the opponent a chance to get that field goal back, there's 1:20 left on the clock and you think it's good strategy to just keep those timeouts and let the effin clock run out ????? C'mon. Who would honestly do that, especially being down 14 pts ????? It's inexcusable
I do believe that his play against the run has been the knock on him. He's a great pass rusher, but he isn't as great against the run. Take that with a grain of salt, however, as I have not watched too many Vikings games.
Tom Brady is just not what he used to be, and I don't get that. Hell, even Peyton Manning is older and still playing great then why can't Tom? Tom is just not the quarterback he was, still good but not great. Today proves that. No way you have Gronk, Amendola, Edelman, and struggle. Tom needs to pull his head out of his "blank"
