Expecting perfection on every pass, particularly deep passes, is just about as stupid as it gets. *****ing about a 40 yard pass that's 6 inches off against a triple team is a close second.

A better complaint there would be about his decision to make that throw in the first place.

There have been multiple throws in each of the last three weeks where Brady has made poor throws on passes of 30+ yards.

It's okay to criticize Brady. He's a subpar deep ball thrower without a freak like Randy Moss. That's not a huge slight on him - the deep ball is a fairly overrated part of the NFL these days. He's the best in the NFL in moving in the pocket and short-area passes, two far more important factors. And he's the best ever in limiting interceptions, perhaps the most important factor of QB play.

Good point. I didn't think of that. How much do I miss Woodhead right now?

Little Danny is having a season out in SD, we should used some of the money we used on Amendola, heck Woodhead has 20 more receptions.

You are *****ing about a pass that was 40 yards downfield, to a receiver who's been out all season, and was about 6 inches underthrown against a triple team. That's idiotic.

As for criticizing Brady, you may note that I suggested criticizing his decision to throw it to Gronk in the first place. Your argument about the throw itself, though, just sucks. Making that argument makes you look as if you've never seen football played, at any level.

It has to do with the fact that I said Brady is not a good deep ball throw, after which Deus Irae jumped down my throat like a possessive soccer mom to defend Brady.

I wouldn't hold my breath here given the way we blow out leads in the second half. I know it sounds crazy, but I think I'd rather go down trailing at half time. We do much better job in the second half closing gaps when trailing, than keeping leads.
