You should easily be able to see Brady's 2010 season was better than #10 on that list. But it's ESPN so who give a ****.

For that reason, I am not clicking on it. They should at least let the season play out before doing this, but then, of course, you might have to include another Brady season instead of a Manning one

Personally, I thought Brady's 2012 season was even better than 2010. The team scored 24 rushing TDs, Brady had 4 himself. You factor that in, and his play was unbelievable.

I think 2010 was his best. Two rookie tight ends, a Wes Welker of a knee injury surgery, Deion Branch, traded Moss, and played 8 playoff teams while throwing only 4 int all season long. That was a special season

I hate ESPN so much.

The two best seasons in NFL history, without question, were Tom Brady in 2010 and Dan Marino in 1984.

Brady's season included an NFL record for passes without an INT despite that he was the league leader in TDs. He did not turn the ball over in something like 12 straight games while methodically picking apart every defense in football. That was with a completely rebuilt receiving core that lost Moss, had Welker at 75%, and otherwise was led by rookies and a revived Deion Branch.

Marino's season was as impressive because of the total stratospheric shredding of previous records and the fact that he was that high above his peers who faced the same competition. More on that below.

Manning's 2006 season over Brady's 2010 season? Really? Manning was better in 05, 09, and last year. Hey, does anyone know the only time in NFL history when a player won a unanimous MVP award? Was it Manning in '06?

Looking at the "gigantic stats" seasons, Drew Brees' 2011 over Dan Marino's 1984? Let's see, in 2011, three quarterbacks, including the immortal Matt Stafford broke 5,000 yards, and Eli Manning was really close. Brees was the third best QB in football that year and threw 14 picks. Marino played in a different era... in 1984 only three players threw for over 4,000 yards. Brees threw 46 TDS while Rodgers had 45, Stafford had 41, and Brady had 39, In 2011, Marino threw 48 TDs... only one other player, Dave Krieg, broke 30, tossing 32.

I don't see a ton of difference between the following seasons:

Brady 2007
Manning 2004

All of them are basically just smashing records at a dizzying pace due to superior weapons and the league's passing rules, and I think any of them "could" have the touchdown record, the efficiency record, the points record, etc etc just depending on if they want to really wanted it.

With the rules the way they are now, all these names will be erased in the next 15 years.

DBs are barely allowed to cover anymore. while WRs are allowed push offs on every pass. It's pathetic.

Peyton will deservedly go down as one of the greatest QBs ever, but his 2006 season wouldn't warrant mention in a top 50 list, let alone top 10. No, I am not exaggerating.

Another couple of interesting facts about Bradys 2010 season.

His best Olineman, Mankins, sat out half the season in a contract dispute

His starting running back, BJGE, was a 2nd year undrafted rookie starting for the first time

He faced 7 top 10 defenses in points allowed (1,2,3,4,6,6,10)

He faced 10 top 10 defenses in yards allowed (1,2,3,3,5,6,6,8,9,10)

He faced 7 top 6 defenses in QB rating allowed (1,2,3,4,5,6,6)

Ill admit Im a homer, but I think Bradys 2010 season is the best ever by a QB. But hey, what do I know compared to ESPN.
