Re: NFL Week 3 other games
Part of that is because of the team he plays/played on. The 49ers were stacked last season and were doing alright with Alex Smith at the helm. Kaepernick is flashy but he's prone to significant mental lapses. You put a lot of QBs on the 2012 Niners team and they'd look like great too. We know this is the case because Alex Smith fared almost as well as Kaepernick did in terms of winning %
The Colts defenses is below average and it made Terrelle Pryor and Ryan Tannehill look good. This same defense is stymieing the 49ers. In addition to that, they've only scored 10 points in the last 7½ quarters. Tell me does that sound like a formidable championship type offense? To me that's the look of straight garbage.
Kaepernick is definitely part of the problem. Trust me when I say this, and no disrespect to the guy, but he's not that as good as they say he is.They look like they are going to be 1-2 after today (granted there is an entire fourth quarter to go). Teams seem to have figured out Kaepernick a bit.

It's not just a bad game. I'm starting to see a pattern with them. Teams and good defenses figured how to shut down Kaepernick.I think that you might be right about that. Could be just a bad game, but who knows? They have not looked as good as last year though.

Perception is everything. After studying both of them, it wouldn't shock me at all if neither of them made the playoffs.Agreed, as are the Packers. Packers one win was against a horrible Redskins team.
But we'll continue to hear how they are great teams with both maybe being 1-2 after today, while the Patriots are a bad team a 3-0.
