Miami Dolphins WR Mike Wallace already pouting

He better get used to it. For better or worse, he's just essentially a high-priced decoy in that scheme not suited for his skill-set.

Wallace has one route. Maybe if he wants to be more involved in the offense he should stop pointing the finger and get better at running routes with a little bit more geometry and angles in them.

BUST.

Don't forget, Mr.Wallace acted in the best interests of the NFL and the Dolphins by accepting an offer smaller than he could have received elsewhere. What a swell guy.

Who's the last Patriot to pout after a win? Backup QB Drew Bledsoe?

I imagine there have been a couple of cases since, but I'm not recalling them.

Me neither. In Drew's days wins were very precious things and no one I can remember, either on the team or in the fan base was complaining about a victory.

First name that comes to mind. I believe there may have been an Adalius Thomas there as well, circa 2009.

Up until that time I was a big Moss as a Patriot fan despite not wanting him here pre-trade. Once he put on the laundry, this Pats homo was all in. But when I watched that conference I thought, "He's gone". Followed by a Miami game win where it looked like Brady wouldn't even look in his direction. I think that both TFB and BB liked the guy but both timed out on the constant need for emotional reassurance and maintenance Randy demanded. Both had too many other football issues consuming their time and emotional energy to do the constant maintenance.

The Miami hype train derail is happening faster than I expected. Against the Browns, no less!

> Is a one-trick pony deep threat who requires a good deal of time to get open (he is what he is)

> Follows the money and takes the biggest contract available (understandable)

> In doing so, signs with team that has no offensive line (okay, can't fault a guy for chasing money)

> Is disgruntled that this team, with its terrible line and immobile QB, can't keep the play alive long enough for him to get open...

... and just like that, the train's off the rails. Did he seriously not see this coming? Is he that stupid? Half of us predicted exactly this when he signed, and it's also why I declined to bid more than $4-5 for him (I got Amendola for $9, for reference) in any of my fantasy leagues.

He'll get some long TDs on blown coverage throughout the season, but on a game-to-game basis I just don't think he'll be a factor. If he wanted to make a lot of plays, he should have gone to a team with an excellent line and/or a mobile QB.

Even Moss, in basically the same situation in 2010 (the same year he went off the rails and got traded) was smart enough to get on board with the "I'm a decoy, helped the team win, all's good" train.

One game in. Oh boy this is gonna be a fun season to watch :singing:

.

Not sure why you are calling Tannehill immobile. He's actually one of the more mobile QBs in the league. The Dolphins just aren't going to scheme for him to run the ball because he isn't as dynamic as an RGIII or Cam Newton.

That said, I completely agree with everything else you said that Wallace chased the money and chose a bad scheme for his limited (but still dangerous) skillset. Should be interesting to see if he continues to unravel.

Mike Wallace need to understand in the Scheme of things he's doing his job by occupying two guys which opens it up for his other Teammates. I think he's mad because he started himself on his fantasy team.

I'm just guessing. Cashante Samuel?
