Inactives for week one, Patriots at Bills

No Dennard on any injury list..wonder if he start since missing all of pre seaosn

no shockers and no big names other then Gronk that is a good Sign cant wait for the kickoff...GO PATS

Dobson is disappointing, we really need this kid to step up, and we would be in a dire if not for the emergence of Thompkins.

I would expect either Kline or Barker to be the final inactive.

Keep Calm and Josh Boyce. Kid's money, son.

I'm more bummed about Harmon, I liked what I saw in his game in the preseason.

I like Boyce as well, but I still think Dobson playing to expectations is essential for the long term success this season.

Sudfeld...and RUIN!

If there's anything that is not essential to the long term success of this team it's a 2nd round WR.

He will be fine; he showed some solid improvements over the last 2 weeks of the preseason, I am more concerned with Ryan and Cole being the depth at CB.

I agree that Tavon was surprisingly OK the last couple games, but Ryan was superior to Wilson in those. Why would you be more concerned about the guy who played better?

Shame about Dobson Hope my thought of him being red shirted in the way Vereen was doesn't turn out to be the case.

Guessing the last inactive will be Chris White.

Dobson is obviously being Vereen'ed. I doubt we see him for more than a handful of useless games.

Or he's actually injured but only some sort of wacked out conspiracy theorist would believe that.

Re: Inactiveswa

Kliff Kingsbury.

That's exactly it. Kingsbury -- nine years ago -- who was cut before his sophomore season, is the only example ever offered to demonstrate BB's well-known practice of "stashing" valuable but raw rookies to keep them for next year.

It doesn't happen. The "Foxboro Flu" doesn't exist. And there's a good reason it never happens: the surest way to derail a promising developmental player is to keep him from practicing his rookie year.

Based on the roster and players already known to be inactive thus far, the Patriots will be going into today's game with just 3 safeties, 2 tight ends, and 3 defensive tackles.

Surprised they cut AJ Francis. 3 is a little thin.

3 safeties should be fine. Julian Edelman and Matthew Slater are ready!

Is Develin active? He can fill in at TE if needed.

It's a weird 45 for sure. But on the DTs, how often would you really field a traditional 4-man line against this Bills roster?
