LOL! There, in a nutshell, is the problem with any UGG ad. The less of the shoes they show, the better.

I believe they make some good men's boots so they're not all bad but the ones is this commercial are certainly nothing special. You'd think they could pushed a better product.

Exactly. Unlike some posters, Brady is confident about his masculinity.

In the meantime, the shoes are secondary. That's a 60 second tribute to the journey of Tom Brady right there and and was awesome.

It would be preferable if the face of the franchise had a rugged look similar to Milan Lucic or Patrice Bergeron (esp when he had the gash on his nose). Football is a rugged sport. Now if Brady were a Soccer player on the other hand, NO ONE would say he looks girly.

I highly doubt anyone needs to tell Tom Brady that football is a rugged sport. He's only been playing it at an elite level for the last however many years. See, Brady just lets his playing do the talking about his "masculinity". Not his shoes.

You really think an ad exec says to himself "Hmmmm, what would really sell these shoes to the typical Aussie?? Oh yeah, let's waste millions of dollars getting some American football player who is virtually unrecognizable to Aussies so as to not sell any of these things".

Yep! If that advert was aimed at Joe average Aussie it would have featured a Rugby League or Aussie Rules player, not a guy that the majority of the planet wouldn't know from Adam.

Like if they wanted to run a commercial over here in the UK, it would likely feature a Soccer player.

I've been rooting the Pats on since they drafted Plunkett... screamed at the TV when Sugar Bear was called for roughing the passer... suffered the agony of the Bears crushing us... then the Packers... only to be delivered into football nirvana by Belichick and Brady for lo, these past 13 years.

However, I see a commercial with Tom Brady on a bus with his teammates from different sports and different stages of his lifelong journey. It tells a great story of his football trajectory. The guy has fought through an ACL tear to regain the top of NFL quarterbacking
