Why did this team sign Tebow?

We're talking about 2 weeks of practice and the preseason playing scrubs who are not likely to make the team. It is not worth the effort to hire a quarterback for 2 weeks.

I understand the need for an extra arm in practice but he's not even throwing anything catchable at this point. Pull someone off the street.

Outside of Max and Iron; every other Tebow fan raises questions in my mind, there is something wrong with the concept of a person being so consumed with a person they’ve never met that they spend hours, upon hours in a football forum defending them against every single negative statement, it is not a normal healthy behavior, I’m sorry if that hurts your feelings but it is the truth Demo.

As far as wishing for a Brady injury I may of overstated that a bit; but let’s not act like you would really care if Brady went down with an injury and let’s not act like you would not prefer to see Tebow starting. Most of all let’s not act like you would be here if your beloved Tebow wasn’t taking up space on the Patriots bench right now, because we both know you wouldn’t be, so basically you’re just using the fans of New England and once us fans no longer have what you desire you will abandon us and move on to use a new fan group, likely in the CFL but still another fan base.

This is starting to look like a PR stunt at this point. Maybe he is fooling them in practice. What do the receivers think of this?

Anyway he will definitely last though pre season. Brady will play 3/4 of the next game and Mallet will finish. Game 4 will be Mallet and TT. I dont think its worth keeping 3 QBs unless your 2nd very shaky.

Sure it is. the young receivers need work and that doesn't mean learning to catch knuckleballs. Give some deserving kid some exposure. Maybe from a local school.

I have said this before, including when he signed, and I will say it one final time: If Tim Tebow is going to make this team, he and the coaching staff better find another role whether it is on special teams, H-Back, tight end or long snapper, because it is not as a quarterback.
