"Tebow is more dangerous as a runner"

Ya think?

Belichick and Josh clearly have a plan in play for Tebow and I think they're going to give that plan a solid season. I'll be shocked (not mad, though) if Tebow is cut.

He is going to make the team. They already started selling shirts with his name. Plus its more about good PR ,having a good character guy on the team right now for the ownership. So unfortunately he is going to make the team.

Tebow is 5/19 for 41 yards and an interception so far this preseason, we'd need PR just to explain keeping that bad of a player.

Tebow is a gunner at this point he's playing himself out of a roster spot in the Canadian league if you ask me.

I think Popes Francis is a nice guy and give him a quarter I bet he could throw a few better passes.

no. is he a better QB than the other guys playing the position?

His ability is clearly as a runner. At this point the .05% chance that he can somehow translate that into TE/FB/HB whatever is better than the 0% chance he turns into a value added QB. As someone else pointed out at this point he's detracting from the team by a) changing how they have to play when they are out there and b) not even giving anyone a chance to make a play.

So no, I don't think there's a realistic chance he makes it at another position, but really it's his only chance in the NFL.
He has no chance in the NFL. He's not good enough.

Great game Tom and Danny. Let's hope this carries over into the season.

Instead of the victory formation, I think that was the mercy formation.

Welker > Moss.

Randy Moss could go up against and beat any corner in the league with us. He also caught a late SB TD, he didnt drop a SB clincher...

If Tebow weren't Tebow, he'd be cut after this game.

Tell me how that's not true.

Sadly ,exactly the reason he will make the team . Good PR.

Well one thing about Tebow not showing elite QB skills..

.... we don't have a Favre-Rodgers situation.

At this point in his career, Brady has earned our full undivided loyalties.

Tebow's a good quarterback, he's just got to work on his throwing. :)

Never thought I'd say this about a football game ever, but thank god it's over.

As long as that plan doesn't involve playing football, I'm fine with it.

I'm going against the grain with this thinking, I certainly realize that.

I don't think we can give him a case of Foxborough Flu. It would look too weird and obvious.

I just can't help but thinking that they somehow assumed that he'd have a hard time picking up the scheme and throwing the ball, so I'm wondering if there's a longer "learning curve" period to this that goes throughout the season?

I'd have to say that you're probably right. I'm just thinking out loud.

I was thinking maybe he can willingly ask for a year off and go on the non football reserve list, no matter what I can't see anyway we keep him, who wants a developmental 26 year old 3rd string QB, that makes him the 64th oldest player on this current roster, but he's the developmental player, wouldn't make much sense to me.

That was a great kneel-down he executed, though! :) PERFECTION.

Thank God it ended before he could completely give game away.

I kind of feel bad for the dude, as bad I can feel for someone getting to live their dreams.
