He didn't read the article he assumes that it's in favor of Tebow out there with the ball in his hands in lieu of Brady sometimes.

But I mean it's easy to assume the article is pro-Tebow with quotes like this:

Not to mention, the only snippet reference to "wildcat" in the article answers his "question" and contradicts whatever it is he's trying to say about the article.

However, he’ll never, ever – ever! – take a snap away from Brady. It just won’t happen. For Tebow to take the field at all, he’d either be alongside the future Hall of Famer in some type of Wildcat or goal-line strategy, or Brady would be on his way to the hospital.

I'm beginning to wonder if you're even capable of reading. Or maybe you're being willfully ignorant...?

What the hell does the wildcat have to do with anything?

It's from the article you imbecile. Maybe you should learn to read before lecturing anyone else.

You ever see people just keep digging a deeper and deeper hole when they could just say 'oops, I ****ed up' and save themselves from looking more and more stupid the more they post?

If not scroll up and reread your own posts.

I still don't see where you get that he's taking a snap away from Brady, you quoted it yet still did not seem to actually read it.

The author said ""For Tebow to take the field at all, he’d either be alongside the future Hall of Famer in some type of Wildcat or goal-line strategy."

Now let me get this straight, not only will Brady be on the field for "some type of Wildcat" but Tebow will too.

Brady will never be on the field for the Wildcat, that's the first issue. Certainly not in addition to Tebow. If the Wildcat is run, it will be Tebow only, therefore he will be in in Brady's place.

Like I said, dumb idea, dumb article, likely written by another Tebow fanboy.

Article said Tebow would never take snaps from Brady, Armchair said great game plan, referencing the article, take Brady of the field. G8or chided Armchair for not reading the article, then showed the quote where it said they wouldn't take Brady of the field.

Then someone called him on his spelling, then you chimed in. Not really sure about the rest of your comment.

It's pure comedy .

If he's a fanboy, he seems to be pretty well entrenched in the Boston area. I've never heard of him either, but considering I don't normally follow Boston.com that's not surprising.

It's alright. We accept your apology. It's difficult to man up and admit when you speak out of place. Being able to do that says a lot about a person's character.

I was in the camp of keep him until final cuts but due to today's events would release Tebow immediately and bring in a real QB. who could actually play for this team.

Maybe you can tell me what Brady will be doing in the Wildcat with Tebow on the field? The author is contradicting himself saying they'll only be on the field together, never just Tebow but it will be in the Wildcat. And I'm the one with the problem? Brady and Tebow in the Wildcat? OK.

Bringing in real QB's to camp in case of injury to the starter? You just might be on to something.

Nope. Instead of reading the article and responding to the substance of it, you're here desperately latching onto one word in the article and trying to save face with it, basically. Why don't you just let it go. It's alright, really. We know you don't like to read, and nobody here will force you to. :itsok:

Anytime there's an injury, at any position on the team, I strongly feel that the best way to overcome it is to cut the depth even further, until you have no remaining players at that particular position. It's a sound strategy that has worked countless times in the past. Just look it up. :rolleyes3:

As in 'in order for this QB to even see the field it would necessitate something extreme.'

I think you're getting lost in the phrasing. Here's a non-football example:

"For Armchair Quarterback to look any dumber he'd have to keep posting about this topic."

It's subtle, but if you read it in context you'll see that the author of that line (me) is actually not advising you to keep posting.

Oh crap. Knee sprain.

Eh well. I'm thinking QB12 is on the field vs. buffalo. But it sure does make you feel the importance of the 2nd and 3rd QBs more keenly.

Miss you Matt Cassel!

From everything ive read it sounds like a mild sprain, I hope hes fine and just takes it easy for remainder of camp.

BS, it means the author thinks Tebow will come in for the Wildcat, (as in not their regular offense, something extreme is your slant on it) but it will be with Brady. The fact that the author said they'll both be in the Wildcat makes no sense. Tebow alone in the Wildcat actually does but that would mean taking Brady off the field. And if Brady is in, what exactly would qualify as "something extreme" to bring Tebow in? Oh yeah, GFY.

You're digging deeper, refusing to back out, and so this is probably a total waste of time. But for a separate and independent reason why you are wrong, the "wildcat" usually involves the starting quarterback staying on the field. This is so they can't be sure from the huddle what is going on. He goes out wide to remove one defender from the equation. (Sanchez was out wide, in the 11 man formation, during Tebow's wildcat plays last year, as was Orton in Denver). The wildcat started this way with Ronnie Brown in shotgun and the QB out wide.

So not that it had anything to do with why you were really being obstinate and wrong, but YES, it even makes perfect sense for the author to imply Brady would be on the field for a Wildcat.
