Patriots Training Camp (Day Five, Tuesday July 30)

Im really enjoying the reports out of TC this year.

Does it seem like we have more players this year on the cusp of maybe taking it to the next level than we usually do?

Oh and who told Belichick these guys could have a day off??

Small excerpt from article

"Tim Tebow had his best day of work in training camp, showing steady improvement from recent performances. He showed good arm strength and accuracy on throws down the field, and looks to be more decisive with each live rep. In addition, the team walked through some read option work early in practice, something Tebow's movement skills can be used in. From afar, it seems as if Tebow's work with offensive assistant coach Brian Daboll is paying early dividends."

is there a way it ignore people on the forums?

You found the one positive report on Tebow so far!

Actually it ties in with another from Pats Pulpit. There is some evidence he's improving with reps.

Hopefully you are not rooting against him. Here is another

Brady, Tebow looking good

After a sloppy performance on Monday night, Tom Brady and Tim Tebow had terrific performances on Tuesday. Besides a few overthrows on goal line drills, Tom Brady was on target all afternoon long. Brady and Danny Amendola seem to be building chemistry every day and I look forward to seeing them in live game action. One of the top plays of the day was a stunning one-handed catch by tight end Zach Sudfeld. Even though it was a difficult grab, Brady put it perfectly over the head of Adrian Wilson, who had pretty good coverage on the play. In my opinion Tim Tebow made the pass of the day when he threw an absolutely perfect deep ball to Lavelle Hawkins during one-on-one drills. Cornerback Logan Ryan couldn't have played the ball better but Tebow put the pass right into his breadbasket. Tebow has improved everyday and I think he could potentially pass Ryan Mallett on the depth chart.

Mallett wasn't able to bounce back from his bad night on Monday. He made a few good passes during 7 on 7s, including one where he nailed Matthew Slater down the left sideline but it was dropped. Mallett lacks consistency and seems to struggle whenever there is any amount of pressure. I can't help but think that Mallett needs to take some heat off the ball when it comes to intermediate routes. On a short five-yard pass to Kamar Aiken he fired it in, forcing a difficult catch. Aiken dropped the ball and there is no excuse for that, but in my opinion Mallett needs to improve on his touch in order to make things easier for the receiver.

I decided to use a humorous (well, attempted) GIF from a cult movie to point out that maybe, just MAYBE, the guy who joined in July with the name Christiancat, the Tebow avatar, and the Tebow signature, might be cherry picking reports to make his boy look better. This means I'm rooting against Tebow?

You guys are too sensitive.

Teblows skillset is the following.

Take the ball, Run for a 6 yard gain or a 20 yard loss.
Take the ball and throw an interception
Take the ball and throw it as far as you can, Have reciever run as fast as they can, hope receiver catches the ball.

Our defense is not good enough to support an offense that has three plays.

I'm far from a Tebow supporter, but he has always done a good job of protecting the ball. His int% last season was only 0.1% worse than Bradys career average.

You might be right, I stand corrected. I'll try to be less sensitive.

Tony - Who were the league leaders in fumbles at quarterback in 2011?

So what is wrong with me pointing out Yates said something positive about him?
Despite numerous bad reports on Tebow.

I have a soft spot for Tebow (guess where) but I mean, when the pass is thrown hard and way off the mark it's hard for anyone to catch it.

Nothing at all. Never said there was.

My only issue is that that exact quote was mentioned twice before in this very thread, So it makes it seem like you are kind of fanboying out a bit what with the whole "Tebow everything" getup you got going. Personally I'd say tone it down a bit, as you are trying to hard to show everyone how much you like tebow, Christianity. Matthew 6:1
