T.O. wants to join the Pats...the feelings NOT mutual

It's sad that someone who was once as talented as TO can't accept his fate and realise that his time in the NFL has (or should) come to a close. NFL Network beckons TO.

There's already enough a-Holes on the NFLN.....no room for another one...hopefully no room.

In Seattle he was getting wide open...then dropping the ball.

So he still has some ability but the drops are a huge factor and probably the biggest reason the Patriots aren't interested and why he didn't last in Seattle.

He doesn't want to pay for the Pats. He wants to any team that will pay him, including the Pats.

With Amendola, Edelman, Boyce, Dobson, Slater as locks, there isn't exactly a lot of space for anyone else. I think Jones has a chance given his size and ability to block and how he's a good redzone target, but that's about it.

I'd love for him to join the Pats . . . 10 years ago. No room for him now.

Yeah... no.

If the Pats can actually develop and establish a couple of WRs, we won't need guys like TO offering their services. Lots of guys want to jump on this bandwagon, but most fall off by training camp. The Pats are an NFL football team... you have to earn it, BB's projects be damned.

Even if they don't get the development they hope from one of the new guys, TO's not the answer, either short term and especially not long term for obvious reasons. We're due to get a winner from the draft, aren't we? I got hopes!

I'm glad to see that thinly veiled remark went blissfully over the top of your head.

someone mentioned how he was an older version of chad johnson.

At least T.O. can fight for the ball, hes still probably better then johnson is, and hes better then johnson was also.

with all that said.

no. hes not a fit for the patriots/

LOL, good one to end the weekend!

I agree, but at least Chad saves his loud personality for the press.

I would love to see TO signed with an inside joke in mind to just cut him. It would be amazing to see the d!ckhead work his ***** off in training camp to be a first-cut in favor of some unproven 2nd/4th rounders and a former Kent State QB.

T.O. has had a semi-recurring role on NBC's "Go On". I have no complaints with this, he's been funny when given the opportunity. If that show stays on TV, he can become a show regular and I think do well at it.

That would also keep these absurd "wanting to get back into the NFL" stories away, which would be excellent.

I say YES. Bring him in for the vet minimum and training camp.

Then, set him up in an adjacent field somewhere at Gilette and bring in some circus animals, a big top, and some acrobats to go along with T.O. and let him do his thing. It would be a perfect distraction for the media and great activity for the kiddos as well!!

Try him out at TE. Cut him if it doesn't work out.

I'd say yes to Tebow before I'd say yes to TO. That's how much I DON'T WANT TO on our team!

"Getcha clam chowder ready!!!!" lol
